Privacy Policy
We believe privacy is a fundamental human right. We do not sell your personal data, track your continuous movements, or monetize your location history.
1. Information We Collect & Why
Dear Whoever collects only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:
- Google Account Information: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your Google user ID, email address, name, and profile photo URL. We use this strictly to maintain your account session and prevent spam.
- Location Data: When you search for nearby notes or place a message, your browser requests permission to access your GPS coordinates. We use coordinates ephemerally to query notes within your radius. We do not continuously track, log, or record your movement trajectory.
- Message Content: The text and expiration time you choose for your note.
2. Coordinate Obfuscation & Proximity Locking
To prevent bad actors from scraping coordinates and tracking users' routines, notes farther than 150 meters away have their coordinates intentionally blurred and jittered on the server. Exact pin positions are only delivered to verified users within the immediate vicinity.
3. Author Anonymity
When you author a note with "Post Anonymously" toggled on, your display name and avatar are completely excluded from public discovery queries. Discoverers receive only "Someone".
4. 1-Click Complete Account Deletion (GDPR / CCPA)
You own your data. You can permanently delete your account and wipe all personal data at any time from your Profile sheet. When you delete your account, your personal records are purged, and any surviving notes are permanently severed from your identity.
5. Contact
